Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens is now on our recipient list for Community Service Bee quilts.
CHARLES, please add this organization to the Community Service section of the website.
See letter from them below.
We had 29 finished quilts before Phyllis brought in three more, making it 32. The Busy Bees also finished up binding on some quilts - at least two more, but I think it was five more - (not sure if the other 3 were the ones Phyllis brought in or ones that were finished at the
Bee today and put on the delivery cart just as Frances was taking it to the car)
so looks like 37 finished quilts. Whoo hooo Y'all are fantastic!
PARTY NEXT WEEK - Sylvia will bring a coffee maker. It can also do hot water for tea and hot chocolate. Contact her if you have any questions about that.
Fun starts at 10:30 in the Fiber Studio and we'll probably start eating all the goodies we bring at about 11:15
so we can be done about noon.
Also, for those wondering about the new sewing machine saga - got a voice mail while at the Guild meeting last night saying the Pfaff Performance 5.0 machines are on BACK ORDER and are EXPECTED to arrive next week, so I "should have one soon." I sure hope that means before pigs can fly.
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK, - ESPECIALLY APPRECIATED BY OUR RECIPIENTS THIS TIME OF YEAR, AND CERTAINLY ALL YEAR LONG.
Cya next Wednesday,
